Previous Next Jean-Pierre Mouton was born in 1959 near the town of Namur in central Belgium. At the age of nine, he entered the local wind-orchestra as a young clarinet-player, he not really had the choice of another instrument because of shortage of clarinettists at this time. A few years after, he decided to take courses at the Conservatory in Namur with Léon Jacot as clarinet-teacher.
